November 13, 2024
Washington — Today, Clean Freight Coalition Executive Director Jim Mullen announced the addition of The Transport Project as the newest member of the Clean Freight Coalition.
The Transport Project is an advocacy organization dedicated to ensuring North America’s fleets run safely, reliably, and effectively on clean, renewable fuels. The organization’s mission is to act as the national voice advancing the growth and deployment of practical, clean, gaseous fuels for transportation by advocating for fair and effective legislation and regulation informing and educating about the availability, use, and benefits of clean gaseous fuels and vehicles; continually improving safety through sensible codes, standards, and practices; and collaborating with like-minded partners across the transportation sector.
“The Transport Project is a natural fit for the CFC given the organization’s dedication to a clean energy future for America’s trucking industry. We look forward to working with Transport Project and its network of nearly 200 organizations and companies committed to the clean and efficient movement of goods, services, and people to further the mission of the CFC,” said Mullen.
The Transport Project will join existing CFC members in their efforts to provide cleaner trucks with multiple solutions to meet multiple fleet applications. “We are excited to work alongside the motor carriers, truck dealers and truckstop operators that make up the CFC membership to achieve our collective goals of enhancing decarbonization efforts, reducing emissions and working to affect climate-positive policies,” said Daniel Gage, president of The Transport Project.
The Clean Freight Coalition is an alliance of transportation stakeholders committed to a clean energy future for America’s commercial vehicle industry. Participating associations span motor carriers of every size and sector, truck dealers, truck stop operators and bus industry.
